For minimizing the wastewater stream following are suggested/planned:

• seperate rainwater treatment by a french drain
  
• implementation of water saving technologies (e. g. waterless urinals, urine separation toilets)
  

For optimizing the purification result the existing treatment plant will be converted into a combination of sewage ponds and RBTS with vertical flow, sewage recirculation and water reuse. This prodedure will guarantee an optimum of aerobic treatment and nturient removal. The high fluctuation of influent will be buffered by a polder.

During the summer saison (April - Oct.) when the influent is reaching it´s maximum level, the treated wastewater collected in the polder will be reused for agricultural irrigation. The rest of the year during the term of low Capacità ricettiva (Nov. - March) the effluent is introduced into the Heidbach, a small stream near the camping site.
